The Alert Architecture employs a variety of tools, including the following:
- User generated Notices that advise users of new information postings. Notices are received as emails, and include a hyperlink to the new materials.
- System generated Automation Alerts, individually configured for the unique needs of each user, create email Alerts based on conditions, such as a missed approval deadline or document expiration.
- A home page Cockpit that includes a "New Information" inbox and a variety of gauges, such as open approvals, expired tasks, and open action items.
